Silverlight makes the creation of rich business applications for RIA (Rich Internet Applications) much easier to build than what was available before. In this session we will build a data-centric business application using the new features found in Silverlight 2.

Speaker Biography
Chris Dufour, MVP
 Chris Dufour (MVP ASP .NET, MCAD, IBM Certified Database Associate - DB2 UDB V8.1) is a Toronto-based software architect. He is currently working as a software architect for Compuware, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. Chris is passionate about the developer community and has contributed projects like the ‘Code Camp Event Module’ and ‘Extended SQL Data Provider - SqlEx’ to the open source community on CodePlex. He is also the president of the East of Toronto .NET User Group and co-founder and organizer of the Toronto Code Camp and has been recognized as a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for his involvement in the developer community.
